When Apple first came up with their iPods, a series of mp3 players, the world was instantly awed by it. Models were continually released and more people sought to buy them. But when word came out that they were releasing a mobile phone, people went crazy! During its January 2007 release, the Apple iPhone 3G instantly made everyone clamour for it even if it was not yet released to the market.  This was first introduces in June 2007 instantly selling around 150,000 within its first week.

First thing that you would notice is its sleek design; it was so simple that it caught the taste of everyone. The glossy black exterior made anyone who brought it look as sophisticated. The silver or black back cover made the standard iPod look which went so well with the front design. The most notable thing about an iPhone is its touch screen. There are is no more need for you to deal with those stubborn keypads which only make your feel that you have arthritis when you type. Plus because of this, the screen was large enough, leaving you with the right brightness and the size of the display.

On its second release, iPhones were noted for their 3G capabilities. The 3G wireless network connection is more efficient and faster now. Although it could be a little faster, but the connection was fast enough to be used. Web browsing has never been made this easy with a Safari browser. You may seem to wonder about the website display, but it displays it clearly on the screen. You can now browse through the internet whenever you want to as long as you have your iPhone on hand.

Locating you and other people can be done very accurately with your iPhone. With just one click, you would just have to check Google Maps and click on your location. So trust that you would be located if you were stranded somewhere and you only had your iPhone with you.

Sure here are the features of the iPhone, but what about the calling and messaging on the iPhone. It is still a phone, right? Calling people is so easy with typing the number or the memory storage of the numbers. It is made as clear as it should be and as loud. Signal was strong so there was strong reception and no chopped up lines. There’s no problem with text messaging, as long as you get used to working with a touch screen, then there is no problem with that.  You can send you r regular text messages to your friends.

We should not miss the fact that it is and iPhone, which means that it has an integrated player in it. You might see that it is similar to the iPod Touch. Just sync it with your iTunes and play the songs when you want to.

The camera is okay but not the best feature of the phone. Although it is a 2 or 3 megapixel phone, it still looked like a VGA camera when you take pictures with it. It has no zoom, no auto focus, no flash. It plainly took pictures.
