There are numerous teeth whitening products that are now available in the market – whitening trays, bleaching gels and then there are the different whitening strips that are convenient and are easy to use. The Rembrandt teeth whitening strips are similar to the Crest Whitestrips as it uses thin strips mold on the top and bottom teeth. However, Rembrandt Whitening strips are different from those of the Crest’s as these are curved to fit better on the teeth and makers call this the FORMFIT technology. Rembrandt is recommended for minor whitening for six of your anterior and posterior teeth which the strips can cover.

Rembrandt Whitening Strips

Whitening strips are easy to use though they are notorious for their mobility when you put them on your teeth. Similar to the infamous Crest Teeth Whitening Teeth Strips, Rembrandt whitening packs has twenty strips that are foil wrapped individually. There are for your 10 upper teeth and another 10 for the bottom teeth. To put the strips on, you need to peel off the plastic film like material or the backing liner. Then you have to align then on your gum line and fold the bottom of the strip underneath the teeth to hold them in place. These strips should be applied on the teeth for 30 minutes each day for five days.

Rembrandt whitening strips provides longer top strips than the bottom strips. However, these strips only cover six teeth fully on some testers and half of the first bicuspids. Usually the back teeth is visible when a person smiles so it is quite disappointing to see that the top strips do not cover more teeth.

The Rembrandt packaging has an amateurish and unprofessional look before 2006, especially if you compare it with a Crest Teeth Whitening Product. Looking at these sitting side by side on store shelves and realizing where they lack, the Rembrandt marketing team went on redesigning the packaging of their product line up and come up with a professional and consumer friendly packaging.

The Rembrandt Whitening Effect

During the first four treatments, one cannot really distinguish any changes or lightening in the color of the teeth. Changes were more noticeable when it was already on the sixth or seventh try that teeth would have appeared lighter and whiter. However, the change was not really that great. Rembrandt Teeth Whitening product is recommended for minor whitening processes. When you decide to use this, make sure that you take the Rembrandt strips in a square box as it contains a higher hydrogen peroxide formulation. Avoid picking the weaker Mint Whitening strips in a curved box as it will have weaker effects also.

Similar to other whitening products, these whitening strips also contains bleaching gels which may irritate and cause sensitivity to the gums or your finger as you apply them. This is normal and the feeling will be tolerable and will soon go away. In some cases, too much drooling is noted on users of teeth whitening strips so it is advised that you don’t have much activities when you are going to apply the strips to avoided any embarrassing moments with strip slippage.

Useful info. I use pearl drops but it doesn't seem to be that effective.
